Good afternoon everyone and greetings from Zohran’s NYC. Sure, it’s pretty scary to watch every single NYPD officer get gutted like a fish in the street by the revolutionary guard, but you can’t beat the price on free buses.

A fun thing that happened technically in November but was released in early December was I went on Blank Check to talk about Ethan Coen’s Honey Don’t!. If I have a “favorite podcast,” it’s probably BC so this was massively exciting! I am terrified of how I did, don’t tell me!!!!!

Anywho! We spent New Years’ Eve at the Met opera’s NYE premiere, as we have the last couple years, and had a beautiful time! It’s cheaper than you think to sit in the nosebleeds and it’s a wonderful excuse to get very dressed up and listen to some beautiful music.

ANYWAY,

Weird year! Lots of very very very very very bad stuff happened, both in the world and in my personal life, but you know what? We fucking made it baby. I sat down and made a list the other day of all the Nice Things That Happened, and you know what? It’s pretty good. I put out a new book (have you bought it yet????????) and took it on an incredible little tour! I toured a little comedy show with my friends Tuck and Calvin! I took a really nice trip for my 40th birthday! I debuted my third face after getting it chopped off again, I hit 5 years of HRT, sold my next book, and my band played our biggest-ever gig at Liberation Weekend and we recorded out next album, which I’m so excited to share with everyone in a few months. NOT BAD. It’s good, actually, probably?

Recommendations Corner

I am looking at the newsletter from last month. And I forgot to do this. Anyway, my recommendation for the winter?? Go to the SCHVITZ!!! Some friends of ours recently got me and Jaya gift certificates for Mermaid Spa in Brooklyn, and truly nothing is better that sweating your entire body weight out while a guy in a little felt hat whips a towel around. I feel CLEANSED.
