Hello darlings! Welcome back to Lubchansky Home news, and our first on the new home at Beehiiv, which I moved it over to for obvious reasons!
Anyway! SIMPLICITY has been out one month now, and the main leg of book tour is over. Thank you SO much to anyone who came out in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Boston, Providence, Philly, Chicago, and Minneapolis! The response has been honestly overwhelming and I’ve been so touched. This book is really personal to me, I put so much of myself into it, and seeing or hearing anyone reading it just the best thing I can imagine. People were so nice and lovely and the turnout was frankly bonkers. I’m still kind of reeling! I want to thank in particular: Ave , Sylvie, Chris, Nina and Adam, and Stacie for bringing me lovely handmade stuff!
(Also it was a bestseller in USA Today? So that’s kind of nuts. I think.)
Speaking of tour, I’ve also got one last date coming up! Next Sunday, Sept 7, I’ll be at Fantom Comics in Washington DC! I absolutely loved doing my Boys Weekend event at Fantom and I’m really excited. I’m going to miss SPX this year for a family thing so this is your chance for a while to get a signed book if you’re in the area- See you there!

I’ll also be on a panel at the Brooklyn Book Festival on Sunday the 21st – keep an eye out on their site for the time and location! I’ll make sure to put it out on social media too.
The big doings of August was basically just touring! I’m glad to be home and back to work on Between the Collapses, my next book. It’s another weird one!

One more thing! Sex Change and the City, the Girl Dad Press follow-up to the award-winning (!) 2 Trans 2 Furious, is now available for pre-order. I did the cover again and have got a fairly deranged comic in this one too. It would be some real irreversible damage to not get this one:

We just passed ONE YEAR of having these dopes in my house. Look at them. I demand this of you:
